SATA upgrade

I added a second SATA 120gb drive recently. It is an identical drive to the one I already have in my PC. That way, I can run a RAID setup if I ever feel like it. For now I am just using it as additional storage.

I bought a SATA cable kit. I was suprised at how widely ranging the price is – from dirt cheap 2-drive data/power cable kits to a very expensive single data cable.

I went with a kit from TigerDirect which was very inexpensive and included a power splitter cable and two data cables for under $6. They were a glowing alien green color – perfect for the Alienware PC!
