Protest at the waterfront by the Federal Building in Wilmington.
Federal Building is located at N. Water Street between Market and
Princess.

Then, the Tea Party will march to City Hall for a City Council
meeting at 6:30 pm. One item on the agenda is a public hearing for the
annexation of Monkey Junction area.

Note: The Edenton Tea Party was one of the earliest organized
women’s political actions in United States history. On October 25,
1774, Mrs. Penelope Barker organized, at the home of Mrs. Elizabeth
King, fifty-one women in Edenton, North Carolina. Together they formed
an alliance wholeheartedly supporting the American cause against
“taxation without representation.”

This event will include Revolutionary war re-enactors to celebrate
the famous Edenton Tea Party. This is a once in a lifetime event to
celebrate our past and protect us from a future of debt and high taxes.
